While our community features a Castle Rock address, Castle Pines North is actually part of unincorporated Douglas County and is served by a variety of government agencies:

Serving Douglas County:

• Douglas County – Responsible for many local governmental services including planning for new developments, road maintenance, building permits, license plates, and voter registration. 
  
  
•  Douglas County Sheriff’s Office - Provides police and traffic enforcement throughout the county.
  
  
•  South Metro Fire and Rescue - Provides fire protection and ambulance service in CPN and other suburban areas in Douglas and Arapahoe counties.
  
  
•  Douglas County School District - Manages public schools throughout the county, including three elementary schools located in CPN.
  
  
•  Douglas County Libraries - Offers several library facilities, including a bookmobile in CPN. 

 Serving Castle Pines North:

• CPN Metro District - Provides water and sewer services, and maintains community parks, trails, and open spaces, and the CPN Community Center.
  
  
• CPN Parks Authority – Responsible for planning and building NEW parks in our community.
