Council meetings for the new city council are held at the CPN community center (7404 Yorkshire Drive) when available, and the HOA#1 Clubhouse, 7233 Tenby Way, across from Buffalo Ridge Elementary School.
 
Council meetings begin at 7 p.m., with time allowed at the beginning of each meeting for public input.  A study session is held before each council meeting beginning at 6 p.m.  While public input is not permitted at the study session, meetings are open to the public.
