RCHS Welcomes Principal Rauh

Principal Kim Rauh comes to Rock Canyon High School (RCHS) with 26 years of education experience. Most recently at Chaparral and Ponderosa High Schools in Parker, Rauh’s background includes time spent as a Social Studies teacher, department coordinator, assistant principal and activities director. She holds a B.A. in both History and Secondary Education from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a M.A. in Educational Administration from the University of Colorado, Denver.

During her first months at RCHS, Rauh noted the quality of staff and students. “Rock Canyon is a great school with amazing students, teachers, and parents as well as a supportive contributing community,” she said.

When asked her goals and visions for RCHS, Rauh responded, “To celebrate our successes and assess our needs as we continue to meet the needs of our students academically and through activities and athletics.” Moving forward, Rauh is focused on maintaining excellence.
