A Night on Treasure Island -

The American Academy Spring Gala will be held at the Marriott Denver South at Park Meadows on Saturday, April 21. The evening will consist of a silent auction, a live auction, dinner, and dancing. Tickets will go on sale in mid-February. The cost is $75 per couple and $40 per individual.

Last year, the event raised more than $43,000 for the school and this year the hope is to raise $45,000. The funds will be used for MST, the library, teacher funds, families in need, as well as to help fund the permanent building.

Welcome, Mr. Bishop!

In January, Joe Bishop joined American Academy as the new P.E. teacher. He is working to implement both Core Knowledge and technology into the P.E. program. Bishop also helps as a carpool attendant. The school is very excited about his arrival.

Fundraising with Target
