The annual Buffalo Ridge Elementary (BRE) Bookfair will take place October 9 – 12 in the BRE gymnasium. This year, Borders Books will organize the fair and will provide a wonderful selection of books for the entire family. Stop by and find great books for all ages, while supporting BRE.
Character Counts is a new program at BRE this year. Six times during the year, students will be introduced to a positive character trait. Fun activities, including tickets awarded when students display the trait, monthly bracelets which correspond to the monthly character trait, and special color dress-up days will go along with this character building program. In September, the character trait was Trustworthiness. The character traits and corresponding colors for October and November are:
