The southbound on-ramp to I-25 from Castle Pines Parkway (exit 188) will be closed on Sunday and Monday nights, September 19 and 20, from 7:00 p.m. until 5 a.m. for paving operations.
During the closure, traffic from Castle Pines Parkway traveling east and attempting to go south on I-25 will have to travel north to Surrey Ridge, turn around, and then travel south.
The Colorado Department of Transportation reports that traffic jams that have been occurring on southbound I-25 from Castle Pines Parkway to Castle Rock are not related to current construction projects.
“Everything is still on schedule, and construction on the first half of the bridge should be completed within the next two months,” says Nabil Haddad of CDOT.
