Metro District Begins Two Capital
Improvement Projects

This fall, the Metro District will begin construction of two capital improvement projects including construction of a water main and a lift station replacement project.

A sewage lift station is designed to carry sewage up and over the hilly terrain of CPN.  Sewage is then pumped in a pressure pipeline where it can gravity flow to the Plum Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, located near Highway 85 and Happy Canyon Road.  CPN currently has eight lift stations.  The sewage lift station, located near Hidden Pointe Blvd., and Monarch Blvd., will undergo a complete replacement project in September.
