Opportunities for Dogs and Owners

A FREE dog workshop entitled, “IS WALKING YOUR DOG A DRAG? “ will be offered on Saturday, August 14,  at the Castle Pines North Community Center from 10 a.m. until noon. Bring your dog and your whole family and teach your dog how to walk nicely on a leash and how to have good manners when meeting other dogs and people. Gentle Leader Training Collars will be demonstrated and available for sale for dogs that already have habits of pulling. Even a small child can walk a dog using the Gentle Leader if it is fitted and used properly.

A FREE dog workshop entitled, “ MANNERS FOR THE FAMILY DOG” will be offered on Saturday, August 21, at the Castle Pines North Community Center from 10 a.m. until noon. Your dog and your whole family are invited to teach your dog how to NOT jump on people and how to have good manners when greeting people at the front door. Many of your dog questions also will be answered.

These workshops are taught by Mary Malone and Gail Hunter of LuckyDog Adventures (a dog day care and training business coming soon to Castle Pines North).  The workshops are free, but please call 303-688-5025 to reserve a spot.
