The Castle Pines North (CPN) community has been under construction since 1984. 

Since 1996, construction of homes in the community has continued at a rapid pace.  Approximately 85 percent of CPN’s homes are already occupied, and many of the remaining homes will be sold within the next year. When will homebuilding be complete?

At build-out, the Castle Pines North community will have 3,260 homes.  To date, 2,780 of the homes are occupied.  A recent survey of area builders indicates that more than 200 homes are currently under construction, and approximately 250 lots are remaining in CPN. 

Of the available lots, about half will be custom homes and the other half are in subdivisions where builders offer a selection of available floor plans.  Most of these builders expect to sell out within a year, and DR Horton expects to be sold out within 90 days. For each area, construction activity will be complete within six to nine months after the last home is sold.

The remaining 128 custom homes may take several years to complete.  The custom home areas of CPN include:  Estates at Hidden Pointe, Whisper Canyon, Estates at Buffalo Ridge, and Amber Ridge.
