La Dolce Vita: The Sweet Life
A native of Sicily, Italy and now a Castle Pines North resident, Ignazio “Nat” Mulei, owner of La Dolce Vita restaurant, brings a bit of the old country right to the heart of the community.
“We just celebrated our fifth anniversary in this location,” says Mulei, “and we couldn’t be happier.”
La Dolce Vita is located in the Village Square Shopping Center and has been a popular restaurant among Castle Pines North locals for years. The wood-burning stove, the balcony scene, the authentic Italian paintings on the walls, and nightly entertainment allow customers to enjoy not only a delicious meal, but also a short escape to an Italian courtyard.
The menu features nightly specials and regular menu items including tender veal, chicken, fresh seafood, and assorted pastas. An experienced staff of event planners handle weddings, special occasions and corporate functions either at the restaurant, or as a catered event.
“Our motto is that you will come in as a stranger and leave as a friend,” adds Mulei.

La Dolce Vita is located at 361 Village Square Lane. Business hours are Sunday through Thursday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. The restaurant is also open for lunch Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Reservations are recommended.
