Rafferty Financial is the umbrella under which three separate but related companies work together to protect and manage clients' wealth. The head of it all is Principal Brenda Rafferty, a Colorado native who has been providing peace of mind to her clients for more than 17 years.

Rafferty Financial Consulting and Implementation provides financial planning for businesses and individuals. Rafferty is associated with Linsco/Private Ledger, the nation's largest independent broker/dealer. Expert advice on everything from Estate Planning to Investment Portfolio Analysis to Strategic Asset Management is available through the company.

Rafferty Mortgage Consultants can help clients through its long-term relationships with lenders. A client's mortgage is usually one of his or her largest investments. "If a mortgage is bad," says Brenda, "it prohibits the client from reaching their goals." Rafferty says people have no idea about some of the fees that are built into some loans. "We play institutions off each other to get the best rates for people."

A third company, Rafferty & Rogers Accounting Services, provides help at tax time. Additionally, Rafferty Financial employs a dedicated attorney on staff for trust and will work. "The companies are separate, which is important," says Brenda. I like each of my division people to go out and bring their input to the table. There are no 'yes men.'"

A major benefit to having these three companies under the same roof is that it protects people's privacy. "High net-worth clients don't want to shop things themselves," Brenda says. "And it's not good for the client if I refer business out. [This way] I can keep control of the situation."

Rafferty Financial's brokers can do business with everyone from first-time investors to high-net-worth executives. The client base is spread from Castle Pines, to Brenda's native southeastern Colorado, to five other states. Brenda is now working with the second generation of some of her client families.
