The Pet Stuff Place

A Store for Health-Conscious Pet Owners

Grace, Maxx, Jake or Dakotah are bound to greet you at the door of The Pet Stuff Place. On a rotating basis, two of these dogs “work” every day to display, sample, and sell merchandise for their owners, who happen to own The Pet Stuff Place.

Sharon and Dick Adams, who opened the store two years ago, share a vision and mission -- to provide a warm, comfortable environment for customers’ and to help pets live healthier and happier lives. They help customers provide their pets with healthy, natural and nutritionally sound pet foods, and high quality pet products.

The store carries a variety of products for dogs and cats. The Pet Stuff Place sells no live animals but instead provides information on rescue groups and shelters for adoption, plus referrals to reputable breeders.

“Our business is based on animal companion health and customer service. We carry natural foods for dogs and cats – many of which are not sold at the large pet supply chain stores, and we sell products such as vitamins and supplements that help animals live longer, healthier lives,” says Sharon Adams. “We also provide a large selection of toys, beds, leashes and pet related gift items not ordinarily found in other stores – even gift items for horse-lovers.”

According to Adams, "If we don’t have an item that a customer needs or wants, we will order it. We thrive on going the extra mile for our customers.”

The Pet Stuff Place is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Call the store at 303-814-6060, visit at the store in the Safeway Shopping Center, or visit The Pet Stuff Place website at: www.thepetstuffplace.com.
